LIZ FENTRESS
Playwright/Director/Actor


Liz Fentress is an award-winning playwright, actor and director, with extensive experience in professional, community and educational theatre. She lives in Louisville, KY, where she acts and directs for Stage One Family Theatre, and teaches for Actors Theatre of Louisville’s New Voices program. She also serves as a theatre consultant through the Kentucky Arts Council’s Peer Advisory Network.

NEWS
July 2013: Liz will be in residence at the Tofte Lake Center outside Ely, MN, working on her new full-length play Stages of Bloom.

June 2013
: Join Liz for "How to Write a 10-Minute Play," a course developed for high school drama, English, writing, and humanities teachers, at the UW Drama Institute 2013.

December 2012: See Liz in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever at Stage One Family Theatre.

July, 2012: Join Liz for Fundamentals of Directing at the University of Wisconsin Drama Institute.

October 2011: World premiere of Liz’s new play Strike Zone at The Bard’s Town Theatre.
