I’ve been directing plays for over 25 years: comedies, dramas, world premieres, big musicals and kids’ shows. Some productions I particularly liked were All My Sons, God’s Man in Texas, The Miracle Worker, Shadowlands, and The Voice of the Prairie, all at Horse Cave Theatre, in Horse Cave, KY. I also directed The Tempest in Horse Cave, featuring 18-foot puppets. Previously I directed Amahl and the Night Visitors using life-size puppets in Murray, KY.

DIRECTOR

In Louisville I directed Madeline’s Christmas for Stage One Family Theatre. Most recently I directed a new play, Green Space, for Assumption High School’s Bloom Theatre Project. I also assisted the students during the writing process. The production featured original music and puppets, and toured to Louisville elementary schools.
Stage One Family Theatre's production of Madeline’s Christmas directed by Liz Fentress with scenic design by Brenda Ellis, lighting design by Derek Easton, and costume design by Donna Lawrence Downs
